As an Occupational Therapist, I support people not only in their emotional wellbeing and relationships, but also in the everyday occupations that shape family life - from caregiving, rest, play, and connection to managing routines, transitions, work, identity, and participation in meaningful activities.
Most parents are told to focus entirely on the baby, losing themselves in the process. — OT INTUITION

WHY OT Intuition?
At OT Intuition, I believe that healing, growth, and connection happen when we feel safe enough to be ourselves and supported enough to explore what we need. Whether you're navigating parenthood, caregiving, identity shifts, sensory overwhelm, trauma, burnout, or the complexities of perinatal mental health, you don't have to do it alone.
A Whole-Person Approach
I recognise that your wellbeing is shaped by your relationships, experiences, nervous system, sensory needs, values, and the demands of everyday life. Together, we explore what is getting in the way of living, caring, and connecting in the ways that matter most to you.
Neurodivergent, LGBTQIA+ Affirming and Trauma-Informed
You are welcome here exactly as you are. I offer a compassionate, affirming space that honours diverse identities, family structures, neurotypes, and lived experiences without judgement or the expectation to mask who you are.
Practical and Psychotherapeutic Support
Drawing on Occupational Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), sensory-informed approaches, nervous system regulation, and attachment-focused practice, I support you to create meaningful and sustainable change in everyday life.
Connection Through Community
Alongside 1:1 support, The Intuitive Perinatal Collective offers opportunities to connect with others who understand. Through community, shared experiences, and collective wisdom, we remember that healing was never meant to happen in isolation.
Trusting Your Intuition
My goal is not to tell you how to parent, care, or live. Instead, I support you to reconnect with your own strengths, values, and intuition so you can move forward with greater confidence, self-compassion, and trust in yourself.
I understand that choosing an occupational therapist is an important decision. Here’s why OT Intuition stands out:
Expertise in Perinatal Mental Health - I specialise in supporting parents, offering knowledgeable guidance and understanding.
Supportive Environment - My practice focuses on building trust and rapport, making every client feel safe and valued.
Personalised Approach - Each service is tailored to meet your unique needs, ensuring a relevant and effective experience.
Community Engagement - Through workshops and support groups, I create spaces for connection and shared learning, enriching the community.
What does Occupational Therapy actually look like ?
Occupational Therapy is all about the practical doing of life. When your whole world shifts, I don't just ask how you feel. We look at what you need, want, and have to achieve in a day, and we find a realistic, shame-free way to make it happen.
Rewriting your daily routines
When a new child enters your life, the "have-to-dos" like feeding, changing, and endless laundry completely take over. Your basic survival needs like eating, sleeping, and showering get pushed aside, and your own hobbies and identity can disappear entirely.
Think of your day like a jigsaw puzzle. We break down your tasks and find where the friction is. If a basic task feels impossible because of sensory overwhelm or a lack of time, we don't just tell you to try harder. We change how, when, or where you do it, finding tiny pockets of time for the things that make you feel like you.
Building sensory safety into the chaos
Babies and children are a walking sensory overload. They are loud, sticky, unpredictable, and constantly touching you. For an autistic or ADHD parent, this can keep your nervous system stuck in a permanent state of fight, flight, or total shutdown.
We look at your specific sensory profile to figure out what triggers your system, then we design practical workarounds. This might look like using loop earplugs during crying spells, changing the textures of the clothes you wear, or setting up a low-stimulus corner in your home where you can co-regulate safely.
Throwing out the standard parenting playbook
Most parenting advice is built for neurotypical, cisgender, heterosexual couples. It assumes a specific family structure and a standard way of functioning. Trying to force yourself into that box is exhausting and triggers a lot of shame.
Living authentically means building a life that matches your actual values and identity:
For neurodivergent parents: Accepting that your home might not look like a neat magazine, and that your routines might need to be visual, flexible, or completely unconventional to work for your brain.
For LGBTQIA+ parents, surrogates, and carers: Validating your specific family-building path. We look at the unique tasks involved in your journey, whether that is navigating the intense logistics of surrogacy, managing co-parenting boundaries, or finding ways for a non-birthing parent to bond through tactile, sensory routines.
If your path to parenthood or caregiving hasn't looked like the standard brochures, you're in the right place.
The Intuitive Perinatal Collective offers compassionate support for perinatal mental health, nervous system wellbeing, identity, and the realities of caring for a child. We recognise that every journey is unique and that families are created in many different ways.
Whether you are a birthing or non-birthing parent, intended parent, surrogate, kinship carer, foster carer, adoptive parent, or another important caregiver, you are welcome here.
What Can I Access Inside The Membership?

Our Roots and Future
While our primary home is online so you can join from anywhere, we are rooted in Bristol, UK. We are currently exploring local, in-person connection circles for our Bristol-based members, with the long-term dream of hosting an annual, deeply nourishing retreat for our collective.
Co-creating your new normal
You are adapting to one of the biggest role transitions a human can go through. Occupational Therapy doesn't try to bend you to fit the role of a parent. Instead, we bend the role of parenting to fit you, your brain, your identity, and your family. We focus on gentle, shame-free adaptations so you can actually participate in your life, rather than just surviving it.

Perhaps you're feeling overwhelmed by the demands of everyday life and caregiving, even though you're doing everything you can to keep going.
You might be experiencing:
Sensory overwhelm or feeling constantly "on edge"
Big emotions that seem difficult to regulate
Racing, intrusive, or persistent thoughts
Feelings of fear, dread, or a sense that something bad might happen
Burnout, exhaustion, or feeling emotionally depleted
Difficulty switching off, resting, or finding time for yourself
A sense of disconnection from who you were before becoming a parent, carer, surrogate, or caregiver
Feeling lost between your previous identity and your current role
Challenges bonding or connecting in the way you expected
Feeling isolated, misunderstood, or alone in your experience
For many people, these experiences are not a sign that something is wrong with them. They can be understandable responses to major life transitions, stress, trauma, sensory overwhelm, unmet needs, disrupted routines, or the demands of caring for others.
Together, we can explore what may be contributing to these experiences and develop practical, compassionate ways to support your wellbeing, your relationships, and your participation in the everyday activities that matter most to you.

Creating a compassionate, trauma-informed space where you can show up as you are. A space that honours your mind, nervous system, sensory needs, identity, and lived experiences.
Helping you make sense of your experiences without judgement. Whether you're navigating parenthood, caregiving, neurodivergence, trauma, anxiety, burnout, or life transitions, your story matters.
Providing practical and psychotherapeutic support to help you strengthen relationships, nurture your wellbeing, and create sustainable ways of living, caring, and connecting - to yourself, your intuition, and your community.
