Who We Are

About Jen Anderson-Frost

“Regulation isn’t about control, it’s about connection..to yourself, your body, and your truth. Healing begins when we stop forcing resilience and start embracing authenticity. When you reconnect and realign, you rise - living with intuition, not expectation.”

About Me – Jenna Anderson-Frost (she/they)

I graduated as an Occupational Therapist in 2017, but my journey of supporting others began long before that. I worked for many years with children and young people in education and care settings, and later within inpatient mental health units, supporting people with a wide range of conditions and presentations.

In 2023, my professional path collided with a very personal one. I experienced a severe mental health crisis during the perinatal period, which led to a diagnosis of Perinatal OCD and specialist support from the perinatal mental health team. This crisis was shaped by multiple pregnancy and birth complications, alongside the devastating diagnosis - and eventual loss - of my brother to oesophageal cancer.

That season of life shook me to my core. I felt as though I had lost my identity all over again to OCD. But slowly, painfully, and with intention, I found my way back, reconnecting with my intuition, rediscovering my authentic self, and learning to carry my trauma with compassion. I made a conscious choice:✨ to choose life over fear✨ to choose love over avoidance✨ to choose radical self-compassion and compassion for others✨ to choose values-based living as my guide

This awakening created a burning desire to help others - not just parents, but also people within neurodivergent, LGBTQIA+ communities like me, and other minority groups who so often struggle with self-acceptance in a world that doesn’t always accept them. As a queer, neurodivergent parent in a two-mum family, I know firsthand how hard that struggle can feel.

My Approach

As an HCPC Registered Occupational Therapist and Intuitive living Coach, I integrate professional expertise with lived experience. I use the Person–Environment–Occupation (PEO) OT model to look holistically at who you are, the world you live in, and how your daily life can be shaped to work better for you.

Alongside using my OT profession, I bring a coaching approach that is authentic, connected, and real. Less about ticking boxes, and more about having honest conversations that go beneath the surface to reach the root of what’s keeping you stuck.

I work through a trauma-informed lens, drawing on:

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Nervous system and sensory regulation strategies

Radical self-acceptance and compassion practices

Gender and sexuality-affirming approaches

Non-traditional family perspectives

Values-based living and boundary setting to sustain your mental and physical health.
